It’s a spam of sci and fox gifs, because I’m only two and a half chapters away from completing the first book in the Rocket Fox series, Flight of the Nighthawk. Soon, the first draft will be finished and it will go off to an editor/beta reader and I’ll lay the ground work for the second book, Pau Theta II.

You Can’t Take the Sky from Me (by kainrath)

This is purely speculation so take it for what it’s worth, but speaking at the San Diego Comic Con this past Friday, Firefly creator Joss Whedon expressed interest in “rebooting” the late, lamented sci-fi television series, with what some people said was a very real air of seriousness. The plan, if such a plan is in place, is to bring back the entire original cast - all of it - and start over from scratch.
“The opening sequence [of theFireflyreboot] is a conversation between Wash and Book,” he said during a panel featuring members of the cast and crew. His comment apparently caught the cast members sitting with him by surprise, leading him to ask Nathan Fillion, “Have I never talked to you about this?”
The whole thing has the distinct ring of a joke to it, reinforced by his remark about opening the reboot with Wash and Book (not to mention a later crack about casting Zac Effron as Simon), but giving strength to the “maybe true” side of the argument isScience ChannelGeneral Manager Debbie Myers, who after learning of Whedon’s professed interest in bringing back the series, told him, “We can help you with that!”
