I’ve only been once and decided for my own personal comfort level SDCC is too large. Plus, unless you have a 4 day pass you pretty much don’t have time to spend waiting in panel lines for hours. While I enjoyed SDCC I won’t be going back anytime in the near future…also, the ticketing system they have used for the last couple of years SUCKS BALLS.
I know that feeling about not wanting to be in crowded places. I was diagnosed with a mild form of agoraphobia years ago, and it’s one of the reasons why I hate going to malls when certain shopping days roll around. My anxiety levels increase and all I wanna do is get out as fast as I can. That’s not the case with everything, because I can go to a football game in Regina with 33,000 screaming fans and my attention is completely focused on the action on the field. I’m fine there, because I’m not in a crowd fighting to move. I’ve seen pictures of SDCC and while I’d love to go, I would totally need somebody to hold my hand and make sure I was fine.
